Skills it builds: Fine motor practice, observation, and problem-solving through printable activities.
Why we love it: A page to make or explore lets the story carry on after reading time.
Keep the little lantern glowing—with pencils, colors, and imagination.
Turn a quiet afternoon into Pipkin & Puddle playtime. Color a lantern garden, count Puddle's bubbles, guide Mallow through a maze, and dream up a lantern with a magical job of its own.
Seven playful pages to print
- Color the lantern garden.
- Count bubbles and try a simple addition challenge.
- Put four Little Lantern story moments in order.
- Help Mallow find his way through a maze.
- Draw and talk about a friend's feelings.
- Design a make-believe lantern.
- Create Pipkin and Puddle's next adventure.
An eighth page gives grown-ups counting and sequencing answers, a maze solution, and printing guidance. Suggested ages 4–7 with grown-up support; children can tell their answers while an adult writes.
This is the companion activity pack only. The illustrated storybook, voice guide, and goop project are included in the separately sold Story & Activity Bundle. The sequencing activity uses events from that story.
