Celebrate four decades of music history with the Relix 40th Anniversary Issue – March 2014, featuring a stunning, collectible cover designed by the legendary Stanley Mouse. Renowned for his iconic Grateful Dead artwork and deep roots in the psychedelic art scene, Mouse brought his signature style to this milestone edition of Relix. His intricate, surreal design captures the spirit of the jam scene, making this issue a must-have for fans of music and visual art alike.
Inside, the issue commemorates 40 years of Relix, chronicling the magazine’s evolution from a Grateful Dead tape-trading zine into a cornerstone of the live music community. Dive into stories and interviews with the Grateful Dead, Phish, Wilco, Widespread Panic, My Morning Jacket, and more, as Relix reflects on its journey through the heart of improvisational and independent music culture.
This issue is both a historical document and a tribute to the artists—like Stanley Mouse—who shaped the look and feel of the music we love.
