The "DIY" Attempt
When the system first started acting up, we went into full "fix-it" mode. So, we are currently living in a temporary, slightly surreal state of existence. The repair tech managed to get the system running—thank goodness—but it’s not back to its usual self. We are now the proud owners of a "bucket brigade" system. To keep the unit running without causing damage, we have to manually drain a bucket throughout the day. It’s a constant reminder of our battle against the Florida summer, and frankly, it’s a bit of a nightmare.
Why We’re Still Smiling (Sort Of)
